Hello. My name is Emma and my brother has just left his rehab. He has been sober for one year. He said it was time and he is ready to leave the rehab. I'm very concerned about his leave because now he is in a homeless shelter in Danbury, CT we don't know anyone living there, plus he's only just turned 25. I gave him a calling card the only other thing I will give him if he needs is a bus ticket to go somewhere else. Any advice of places I can refer to him? Housing assistance? Just till he saves enough money to get out of there. Oh by the way we have terrib le parents so its not like we can rely on family. My husband would prefer he not live with us because we have a new baby now. Advice please!!!
go get housing assistance on medicaid they wil get you housing wicc foodstamps everything... all you have to do is go to your local medicaid office. I was on medicaid for one year and I'm doing great!!!
